In 2010 they were voted 'Microsoft number 1 UK partner'.  In 2010 and 2011 they made the 'The Times Tech Track 100'.

Here, co-founder and CEO Tim Wallis explains how EGOstream transformed his sales team and his whole organisation.

 

Why did you engage with EGOstream?

We were looking to achieve sales growth. We were seeing good sales growth, but we wanted to be certain we would continue to grow and we wanted to grow faster.

Also, I wanted to know what I didn’t know. I hadn’t come from a sales background and wanted to work with people with the experience to help me lead the sales business.

What has EGOstream helped you achieve?

The certainty we wanted and the growth we wanted. We’ve grown more than 300% in what were negative times and are on track for continued growth this year.

They’ve helped us lead the sales team and have definitely transformed our sales team and our whole organisation.

Right back to the beginning.

They started by benchmarking where we were in relation to where we wanted to be.

They looked at the sales team from a human point of view, not just a process point of view. They showed us where the strengths and weaknesses in the team were and what we needed to do to help them achieve more.

They analysed how the team thought and behaved and presented that back to us in a way that helped us understand where we needed to make changes. Unless we moved the business blockers ourselves these would limit our sales results.  This gave accountability and ownership back to the team.

The coaching and mentoring was great.  Working with the guys on their individual blockers to get them over-achieving, their individual results multiplied.  

Also, the coaching around how we engage with our clients. That put the structure behind what they were learning.

How will this help you achieve your goal in the future?

What we now have is a fundamental understanding of what it takes to get high sales performance.

We have a platform for growth and we know we can keep building on that.

We’ve really got the right traits in our people, the right brand and right level of ownership. Our people are now a league above other sales people.  People can tell us apart by the questions they ask and the way they act, and that shows in our results.

How would you describe your relationship?

As a real partnership. Even in the fact that we didn’t need to put a lot down into a contract. We could adjust the requirements together and be reactive to what was happening.

EGOstream is there to help us. This is why the partnership is ongoing. From an initial 3 month piece of work, it’s now a multi year transformational part of our company.
